Фотовыставка «Епархии: знакомые и неизвестные» пройдет с 23 по 29 мая 2017 года в российской столице в рамках Международного православного фестиваля «Артос».
В циклах репортажных и фотографических зарисовок «Епархии: знакомые и неизвестные» явлены герои нашего времени: архиереи, священники и диаконы, монашествующие и миряне. Рассказ о подвижниках веры и благочестия, живущих с нами под одним небом, протекает из тех мест, где не так давно были образованы епархии. Ранее сюда, бывало, и священник не всегда доедет, а теперь здесь местная Церковь – свой кафедральный город, свой епархиальный архиерей.
Проект позволяет воочию узнать об одном из самых больших за всю историю Русской Православной Церкви преобразований, задуманных Святейшим Патриархом Кириллом. Итогом работы команды журналистов и фотографов из Москвы, Санкт-Петербурга и Хабаровска стали десятки статей о церковной жизни в епархиях центральной и южной России, Ямало-Ненецкого автономного округа, Сибири, Дальнего Востока.
